Heritage tree

Brentwood, CA

This looks like it would be a great climbing tree. Or even a tree to just sit under and read a book to your honey. Mind you, the girl I like, it would probably be an ecology book. (-:

  1. This was my favorite tree growing up. =] I also find it interesting that we both have posted this tree and about stood in the same spot for the pic

  2. I took 8 different shots trying to catch the whole tree and nothing but the tree so help me God. But it just really is too big to get it all in. I drive past it every night I have class and i just can't believe that the developer didn't cut it down when he built all the houses.

  3. They don't call it OAKley for nothing...plus Oak trees are special...that tree is practically ancient! I believe there is something protecting most of them... all the new complexes are keeping the Oak trees

  4. I realize it's CALLED Oakley, but in true California living, I figured they'd tear down the tears and name streets after them. That's what Adam Duritz says we do here.
