Or, in this case, by their vegetables ye shall know them. These are my first tomatoes of the season.
On a different note, the homeowners and I got together tonight and staked out the area for the future/fall garden. It is three times the size of the current garden. I can hardly wait.

are those zucchini the ones from seed, or the ones the homeowners found from plant? they already have some baby zucchinis on them too, how cool.
ReplyDeleteSince tomatoes are technically fruits (scientifically, anyhow)You could still say "by their fruits." :) Though I guess that doesn't work for zucchini.
ReplyDeleteI am highly jealous, btw. We're still dropping below freezing many nights around here, so we haven't been able to plant our tomato let alone start having the beginnings of a crop. :p
The smaller plants without the flowers on them are the ones from seed. The bigger plants with flowers and beginner zucchini are the homeowners who planted starter plants.
ReplyDeleteYep, I remember the excitement of those first little tomatoes... They grow like gang-busters at this stage -- if you have a lot of sun you'll get a big crop...
