How I spent Saturday

Antioch, CA

I finished building a fence on Saturday and ripped down an old shed. It was exhausting work but fun as I saw live lizards, black widow, recluse spiders and a dead snake. However, it took a lot of time which prevented me from taking pretty pictures.

  1. I don't mind BIG spiders that you see coming a mile away (tarantulas, daddy longlegs etc.)...but the kind that live in broken-down old sheds and tend to be pretty venomous are NOT my favorites...I pretty much hate them.

One time we rearranged some old lady's wood pile as part of a ward Young Men/Young Women service project and we found a 4" slug. True story.

  2. I once kissed a 4 inch banana slug in an effort to impress some girls at 6th grade science camp. They weren't impressed and I never got a chance to kiss any of them.
